You will want to add this to your Scrapbook Supplies. We have exposed the spine of the scrapbook album/photo album in the picture above. Simply stack your refill/protector pages using the velcro. The velcro is both the spine and acts as a spacer in the scrapbook album. The velcro takes up most of the length of the spine so there are NO stress points where your refill/protector pages could rip out. The 12x12 refill/protector pages are here too. The scrapbook album covers simply velcro to the top and bottom. The flaps on each scrapbook album cover hides the velcro spine. Are you tired of having your scrapbook albums resemble a large wedge? Or trying to hold down your full pages while trying to push one more page over a post (much less get the back cover back on)? A few more Details:The Scrap Wrap scrapbook album provides many improvements over traditional scrapbook albums (ie. Post Bound, Strap Hinge, 3-Ring, etc.). See a side by side example of a post bound book and one of our Scrap Wrap scrapbook albums at the bottom of this page. Both scrapbook albums have 30 pages similar in style. In fact, for the purpose of this exercise, the pages from both scrapbooks were removed and measured from the table to the top of the center of the pages. They measured an equal depth. Below are some other advantages: Each scrapbook album is handmade from quality materials. These products are not assembled offshore on some assembly line with low cost labor. We do everything here. Which brings me to another point; because supply of certain fabric designs may be limited, you may find that a particular style could be discontinued permanently, at any time, without notice.
- Pages take seconds to add or remove using our VELCRO brand fastener hook & loop binding system. If you want to add a new page, just unlace and release the scrapbook album spine cover and spread the pages apart. Insert your new page and then lace the cover back on to the pages. You're done. Our scrapbook albums will accomodate up to 24 pages comfortably, and the more embellishments you add, the better the album will look. Now you can put your scrapbook albums and photo albums out on your coffee table and they will look even from spine to opposite end.
The VELCRO brand binding system provides "depth" to the spine itself so that the scrapbook album should now be more evenly spaced when using thicker embellishments. Our scrapbook albums and photo albums actually look better with more embellishments. This will cause the cover to level out. With the hook & loop strips attached to both sides of the page, the depth of the binding portion of the page is approximately 1/8 of an inch. A standard, off the shelf, 3-ring, top loading sheet is 1/32 of an inch at most. We are giving you approximately 4 times the depth in order to add your embellishments and still have your pages lay flat.
With the hook and loop spine system, the stress created by the weight of your pages is spread evenly across the spine. You will no longer have to replace a page because one of the 3 holes ripped under the weight of your loaded pages. Also your pages will fit more evenly in the scrapbook album because there is no "play" in the binding to allow the pages to rock up and down or move around.
Our new PATENT PENDING protector/refill pages feature a "slit" loading design. Our pages are NOT open at any of the 4 edges. The slit is recessed back from the outside edge by approximately 1/4". This will allow you to load in your pages, and then lock them into place. No longer will your loose embellishments fall out of your scrapbook, or worse yet, your pages.
The fact that all of the edges are sealed means that the visible edges of the scrapbook album will also have a more finished look. You will not have loose, fluttering, or puckering sheet edges at the loading points, plus since the scrapbook album pages are sealed more securely, they are less susceptible to harmful environmental elements.
